New Avengers Featurette Online
Plus Loki vs Tony Stark clip

UPDATE: Need to get more Marvel into your day? Good news then, because a new featurette from Avengers Assemble has thumped into our orbit. This one sees Joss Whedon and his cast members giving some behind-the-scenes insights into the most awesomely volatile team of superheroes ever assembled.

As the seconds and minutes drag past while we wait for Avengers Assemble to hit our screens, here's another clip from the film, showing a bit more of that already-glimpsed confrontation scene between Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark and Tom Hiddleston's Loki.

What can we glean from this snippet? Well, it's clear that Whedon hasn't lost his touch for dialogue, and in fact seems to be in his comfort zone. Both actors look immensely comfortable in their roles, but also like they're having fun playing against one another.

And then there are questions posed: what are those bracelet thingies? What is Loki's big plan? And how can we doubt that this is a cruel and godless universe when they're making us wait days to see the finished product?

And finally, we have another featurette in which Joss Whedon and the cast explain a little more of what to expect. Enjoy.

Avengers Assemble will hit the UK on April 26, which is earlier than in the US, which is something, we suppose.

RE: New Avengers Clip Online
Really trying to stop watching footage. With the trailers, tv spots, and now clips appearing at a rate of knots, I feel any element of surprise the film may have had is slowly diminishing...  More
