Farrell is the only real draw in this for me at the moment, Beckinsale and Beil, sure they are pretty but have never really convinced and I've never found them engaging or interesting in any role I've seen. Wiseman, well, say no more. I was hoping the trailer might stoke some interest for me but although having a few interesting money shots it was very poorly put together.
Hopefully a second trailer will redeem it or I'll be waiting a while and watch this at home. More

From the trailer I think it looks like a pretty decent actioner. Shame they've outed the 'wife' charatcer though. More

Come on: it looks a lot better than I thought it would. Farrell looks decent, alright FX and the dynamic duo of Beckinsale AND Biel! It was never going to be like the original and it looks exaclt ylike other recent films, Could be solid fun though.
Anyone else notice the blatant Bourne rip off? Hands on head away from police (same camera angle) and then suddenly disposes of multiple enemies. At least try a different approach! More

The actual trailer is not cut together very well. The film, against all odds, actually looks pretty intriguing. Farrell is just as incredible as I'd suspected he would be, and the look of the film feels fresh and exciting. The trailer's construction doesn't live up to the footage. I know it's a Len Wiseman movie so I have no reason to hope for the best, but I've long wanted to see Farrell tackle something like this, and for his sake I am pulling for the film to be a rousing success.

I thought the whole point of this movie was to be faithful to "We'll Remember It For You Wholesale." This is just a remake of what was, let's be honest, a fairly dodgy Arnie movie (which we all enjoy ironically or as a guilty pleasure) which strayed very far from the source material.
I am disappointed by the trailer, looks quite poor despite the presence of the superb Cranston.
