If you’ve already watched the new, clash-tastic trailer for TheAvengers but were left thinking, “That’s all well and good. But it really needed a scene where a piranha appears to bite someone’s penis off from inside a woman’s body” then we have some good news, you weirdo freak, you! The new promo for Piranha 3DD has that and more. Settle your stomach and take a look below.
From the evidence of this longer trailer, it’s not tough to deduce the, well, we’ll call it “thinking” behind the sequel: everything that got a reaction in the original, pushed further. Hey, if it ain’t broke…
This time around, the nasty gnasher-bearing fish beasts have found their way into the drainage system of the Big Wet waterpark. Where, wouldn’t you know, OTT owner Chet (David Koechner) is throwing a bash that includes babes, booze and Baywatch-mode David Hasselhoff. So of course there are plenty of buxom or buff types around to end up as fish food.
Feast creators John Gulager, Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are clearly having fun just ramping up the crazy action and adding in a few nods to other horrors. Plus Ving Rhames gets to have guns for legs. Classy. Our one note? Needs more Busey. He’s there if you look for him…
As of yet, the film doesn’t have a solid release date over here and is just jiggling about waiting for its moment. Much like its characters.
This is the kind of parody that Hasselhoff can do well. Priceless hearing The Hoff talking about Darwinism. (Hasselhoff is German for "Cheesy Mofo"). And that piranha at the end is defintiely gay, if you dropped into a nude girl's bath, would you go bite her face first or something else? More
