New Snow White & The Huntsman Pics
Spoiler: an apple is involved

21 February 2012  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Universal

It may be a reinvention of the familiar fairytale, but Snow White And The Huntsman still has many of the usual elements present and correct, judging by these new pictures. Team of vertically-challenged gentlemen? Check. Wicked Queen? Check. Young girl in unfortunate contretemps with a piece of fruit? Yup. Still, it all looks rather gorgeous so we're getting a bit excited about this one.

Shot at Pinewood and around the UK last autumn and winter, Snow White stars Kristen Stewart as the titular princess, Chris Hemsworth as the equally titular woodsman and Charlize Theron as the evil monarch out for blood.

The dwarves are played by Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Brian Gleeson and Johnny Harris. Sam Claflin is Prince William, not to be confused with Mr Middleton.

Snow White And The Huntsman is directed by Rupert Sanders and hits cinemas on June 1.

Which Snow White film will I be seeing this year? Hmm... (in case you don't get my sarcasm, it's NOT Mirror, Mirror) More

Looks good but the lead herself is the main problem here...she only has one facial expression. Ironic, considering she's an actress. More

Nice Prince of Thieves vibe...
in the costumes. Apart from that, I'll wait and see reviews and word of mouth at release time. More

Currently trying to weigh up if Chris Hemsworth is enough of a bonus to get me to sit through another film featuring the carboard cut out that is Kristen Stewart. Was willing to give her the doubt that she was shit in twilight as...well...everyone is...but after seeing her play the same bland character in Adventureland starting to think thats all she can do. May have to leave it a few days after opening to get twitter feedback on whether she was just tragically typecast in those two roles or if More

Fairest of them all?
I must admit, this looks amazing and much better than the rival Snow White picture, Mirror Mirror. Not much new here sadly though. It's mostly screen grabs from the trailer the only thing I can find thats new is a few new pictures of the queen, The Huntsman and Snow White and a good look at Sam Clafin's Prince William, hopefully he'll have more to do here than in Pirates of the Caribbean. There's a nice look at the dwarves as well. Still, can't wait for this. It seems studios are betting on Fair More

Mirror Mirror on the wall....
Dreading to think ''wooden''/''one-face-for-all-emotions'' Kristen Stewart in what is seems to be a nice version of Snow White. I'm willing to give her a chance to prove me wrong though somehow i doubted she will..... More
