Japanese John Carter Trailer Online
Introducing the hero...

We’ve already had more than one John Carter trailer (the latest arrived with plenty of fanfare at the start of December), but what if you were craving some extra footage overlaid with Japanese subtitles and voice-over material? Step this way (or just look below) for the new Japanese teaser, which was dug up by the team at Twitch.

Introduced by director Andrew Stanton, who enthuses about his passion for the film and warns us it’ll be very different from Finding Nemo and Wall-E (as if you couldn't guess), the trailer goes on to show a little more of what happens to Carter (Taylor Kitsch) before he goes to Barsoom, including the tragedy that killed his family.

But don’t go thinking it’s all Earthbound moping – there’s plenty of shots of Carter and co clashing on the planet to enjoy, even though we’ve already seen a lot of that.

It’s an impressive little burst of emotion and helps to give the action a little more depth. Does it all work together? That question will be answered for the UK when it lands on March 9.
