Men In Black 3 Trailer Online
If you're scared of heights, look away

12 December 2011  |  Written by Helen O'Hara

We've seen a couple of posters, but now the trailer for Men In Black 3 has hit the internet, and given us just a tiny bit more of a clue what to expect from the film. In short: familiar gags like the use of the neuraliser; Will Smith jumping off a very tall building and Josh Brolin doing a really, really good Tommy Lee Jones impression.

The plot sees Smith's Agent J travel back in time to prevent the assassination of his partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) in 1969 - which he must do with K's younger counterpart (Josh Brolin). Also appearing are Emma Thompson as another agent In Black, Jermaine Clement, Alice Eve and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Eagle-eyed viewers will notice that a few of the shots here look a bit odd, which we're putting down to the whole thing being filmed in 3D, but we're optimistic that it will be a return to form after the lacklustre second film. And it's about time someone cast Jones and Brolin as the same person since they always, y'know, kinda seemed like they were.

The film's had more than a few hiccups and delays during production, but let's hope it's all smooth sailing between now and May 25, 2012.

How do you feel about MIB3's chances after that trailer?
I'm as keen as an Arquillarian with a new baby galaxy!
I'm as nonplussed as an alien disguised as a dog working at a New York key kiosk!
I'm as furious as a Bug deprived of sugar!
I've been neuralised and don't remember it at all.

Opinions
Tommy Lee Jones face has been covered with Polycel and painted pink, he looks good. Will Smith doesn't really age, but then again face cream's are amazing these days, and he can afford Boot's finest. The wall painting guy is the same exact gag as the 1st film (except it was with a dog). Jumping off the building scene will give stupid people bad ideas as it looks "cool". Josh Brolin looks the part, and sounds the part, but will the joke stretch out over a whole movie? Also, More

I love the way the title is stylised, as if Alien^3 isn't reason enough to avoid exponents. More

After seeing that trailer, can't say I'm too excited about seeing MiB3. Still, as long as it's better than MiB2. More

looks like it could be fun. But what really amazes me is Brolin's Tommy Lee Jones at the end, admittedly it's not a lot, but it does sound EXACTLY like Jones. More

Looked generally kind of awful with Will Smith doing his usual schtick. More

RE: Men In Black 3 Trailer Online
This definitely looks better than I was expecting given what I'd heard about script problems, etc. Looking forward to it, as I enjoyed the previous 2 More

RE: Men In Black 3 Trailer Online
To be fair to Alice Eve, she was in the best bits of Sex and the City 2. More

RE: 3D
Every actor/actress has been in a bad film. She's a good actress and not bad to look at. I liked the previous films. I think they were funny and entertaining enough. Rip Torn hasn't been plucked from the franchise seeing as he's on the IMDB cast list (which I will assume to be accurate). More

RE: 3D
L: Emyr Thy King I think it actually looks like a fun film. Sure, Tommy Lee Jones is taking a bit of a backseat. But I think Josh Brolin will in his shoes quite well and it looks quite funny. ice Eve is in it so it can't be that bad!ote] Hmmm, wasnt she in Sex and the City 2? Anyways, I guess it looks okay, I mean, it looks like MiB. I thought the first was pretty decent fun, but doesnt hold up so well to repeat viewings. The second wasn't a definate decline in quality, b More

3D
I shall be watching in 2D, hopefully as the majority will. The sooner we can put an end to this nonsense the better. MiB3 looks like good fun though. Bit part for Tommy-Lee by the looks of it though. Which is a shame as he always is fantastic. More

LOOKS GOOD!!!
They're not giving a huge amount away, which is either a good sign, in that they don't feel they need to cram the only good bits from the movie into the trailer, or a bad sign, in that there was no way to cut a trailer without giving the game away that the movie's a steaming pile.. Time will tell! More
