Cool New Ghost Protocol Clips Online
It's Mission: Impossible all over again!

02 December 2011  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Paramount

A couple of new clips from Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol have appeared online, neatly pairing the film's two main components. In one, action! In the other, plotting! It's almost as if Brad Bird and team know what makes this franchise tick.

The first clip was referred to simply as Girl Fight when we got it - but it's nothing to do with the Michelle Rodriguez film. Instead, it looks like an ad for really good shampoo and conditioner might look like if the blonde and the brunette really, really hated one another's products and had vowed to wipe them from the face of the Earth. It also demonstrates that you can cause quite serious amounts of damage and injury even in an apparently confining pencil dress.

The second clip was titled "From The Outside" when we received it - but don't worry: that's doesn't mean it's a plaintive ballad sung by Cruise when his team abandons him to go off to dinner without him or something. No, this sees computer whiz, Benji (Simon Pegg), advising Cruise's Ethan Hunt that the only way into [whatever it is they need to get into] is, well, from the outside. Hunt seems reluctant to accept this. Wuss.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is out on Boxing Day. We're more than a little hyped: how about you?
