Snow White & The Huntsman Trailer Online
Who is the fairest?

11 November 2011  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Apple

Snow White & The Huntsman Trailer Online

With the banner artwork for Snow White & The Huntsmanappearing earlier this week, it’s now time for the first trailer to take a bow, which shoves Charlize Theron’s evil, scheming Queen front and centre. Take a look if you have a magic mirror… Or just a regular ‘net connection, over at Apple.

While we get plenty of footage featuring Snow herself (Kristen Stewart), plus time with Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman and Sam Claflin’s prince, it’s Theron whose devious tones narrate this first teaser.

Wrapping the traditional tale of a jealous Queen who kills anyone more beautiful than herself in epic scope and plenty of stylish visuals, director Rupert Sanders is clearly going for a Lord Of The Rings feel. Well, Middle-earth plus just a touch of extra magic, it seems. And the pulsing soundtrack that wouldn’t look out of place on, say, a Matrix sequel.

Birds fly, battles are fought and Snow does her Snow thing (she’s clearly much more of a badass than the Disney version, even if she's still too trusting with regards to fruit). It’s all looking rather intriguing. What say you lot?

Snow White And The Huntsman will ride into our cinemas on June 1, 2012.

Looks surprisingly good!
From the trailer this looks surprisingly very good. Hemsworth rocked as Thor so I'm sure he'll be suitable huntsman, Theron usually turns in a good performance. Lets hope Kristen Stewart is more bearable than she is in her miserable and unlikeable Twilight role....Oh and lets hope she's learnt how to act too! More

CGI or bust
Why is it that people who dislike the look of a film start first by attacking the CGI. Firstly, by any comparison this looks incredibly good, particularly considering the fact how recently filming began. The beast in the forest looks incredible in this short shot with a great sense of physical atmosphere. Good to see aeriel perspective used well to create distance and scale, unlike Thor, which was pitiful. Secondly, one of the best fantasy films of recent years, The Promise, has terrible CGI and More

Wonder what the obssesion is with Snow White, someone always has to make a new one. The trailer shows good, Snow White isn't this little damsel in distress who needs a prince to save her, but why is she in battle? More

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by that...or the visuals at least. Derivative perhaps, but there's only so many ways to do epic. One issue though. If you're looking for someone fairer than Charlize Theron, you're going to have to look much further than Kristen Stewart. Just saying. More

Looks surprisingly cool
I was a bit worried when they had conceptual art with no actual footage, but this looks stylish and epic. Even if it does remind me of a few other films, I say more of that please! More

Looks familiar
This all looks a bit familiar. Aragorn's changed a bit though but the Crebain look pretty much the same. Still, can't wait to see their new adventure. More

er...
I must be the only old fart here who thinks this looks utter B****x. The CGI is terrible, the conceptual designs themselves are either unoriginal, or just daft (Yes that mirror???). Think I may have to pass in favour of Tarsem's version.. Unless he screws it up too! And since when did the world's most innocent princess who wouldn't hurt a fly become an armour and sword weilding fighter? Er..... I'm not against women weilding swords is is NOT snow white. i don't care how you want to More

RE: I Like It!
Wow, that trailer is really guilty of one thing. Taking it's cues from the brilliant Mind Heist Inception trailer. The music is an almost exact replica of Zack Hemsey's piece for that trailer. Wonder if it is by him or a reworking of that track. Having said that, I think it looks okay. I really like how they've done the mirror too. Of the two Snow White pics next year, I think this will easily be the more commercially successful and based on the early looks to the two, the more interesting More
