New In Time Character Featurette
Meet the stars of Andrew Niccol's latest

Andrew Niccol's intelligent sci-fi thriller In Time (the trailers may play up the action, but you can't fool us: there's a brain in there too) is approaching release, but to pass the time until then, here is the first of three features on the film's most important characters to keep you going.

Update #2: Our final character feature focuses on Cillian Murphy’s Timekeeper. It turns out he’s not such a bad sort, just another working stiff who is himself not rich in time. Still, given the big long black leather jacket we’re still not sure he’s on the side of the angels.

Update: The second of our character features focuses on Sylvia Weir, the poor little rich girl that Will meets once his newly-found time wealth sees him admitted to high society. Soon he’s kidnapped her, which you’d think would make her cry me a river, but no doubt soon he’ll bring sexy back and everything will be fine. Only time will tell!

First up, Justin Timberlake's Will Salas, the ordinary Joe just trying to make ends meet when a good deed sees him rewarded far beyond his wildest dreams. Of course, he doesn't lose touch with his roots, so soon he's rocking the apple cart of the whole system and trying to get the people a fair deal. So timely! And we didn't even intend that to be a pun!

Check back tomorrow for the final of our In Time featurettes.

In Time is out on November 1.
