New Tower Heist Trailer Goes Online
Ben Stiller steals from the rich

06 October 2011  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Apple

New Tower Heist Trailer Goes Online

Brett Ratner’s latest movie – Tower Heistalready put one trailer out into the world back in July. Now there’s a fresh promo for it on the web over at Apple.

Tower Heist, in case you were wondering, finds a group of disgruntled employees at a luxury apartment block, led by Ben Stiller’s Josh, planning to rob the criminal billionaire (Alan Alda) who flushed their pension funds down the tubes of a failed Ponzi scheme.

But Josh and his friends (including Michael Pena, Casey Affleck, Gabourey Sidibe and Matthew Broderick) aren’t exactly master criminals. So they recruit petty crook Slide (Eddie Murphy), fresh from jail, to assist them in planning and executing the daring robbery. And, naturally, nothing quite goes to plan…

This one looks like it could be entertaining, even if it does come across as a farce-inflected take on the Ocean’s films. We know Ratner can do slick comedy and action, and he’s got quite the cast on board, so hopefully this one will be more than the usual Rush Hour-level hijinks.

Tower Heist will steal into our cinemas on November 4.
