Will Forte Joins Neighborhood Watch

Adding a dash of SNL lunacy to the already eclectic cast, Will Forte is the latest addition to Neighborhood Watch, Akiva Schaffer's comedy starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.

The film's about a group of suburban dads forming a neighbourhood watch group as an excuse to hang out and drink beer: a plan that comes somewhat undone when they find themselves up against a plot to bring about the end of the world. Hate when that happens.

Not much is known about Forte's role thus far, other than that he's called "Sergeant Bressman", which kind of suggests a cop that the amateurs encounter. Whether it's a big part (fnar) or more of a cameo is also unclear, but it at least seems unlikely that Forte will be bringing any of his MacGruber skills to save the day.

Neighborhood Watch also stars Jonah Hill, Rosemary DeWitt, and the just-announced Richard Ayoade as Jamarcus. It's due for release next July, and will be Forte's fourth movie released next year, alongside I Hate You Dad, Rock of Ages and Billion Dollar Movie.
