New Poster For Machine Gun Preacher
Gerard Butler is armed and dangerous

17 August 2011  |  Written by Ali Plumb

For those in the know, Machine Gun Preacher is an upcoming biopic of Sam Chidlers, a one-time drug-dealing biker from L.A. who found God and went to Sudan protect child soldiers. As you do.

Childers is being played by none other than Scotland's very own Gerard Butler, sporting a fierce beard and an even fiercer machine gun, as you can see from the new poster below.

Directed by Quantum Of Solace's Marc Forster - who's currently up in Scotland working on World War Z - it also features the acting talents of Michelle Monaghan, previously seen being brilliant in Source Code and Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang.

The trailer still hasn't hit the net yet, but with the first poster emerging online, we wouldn't be too surprised to see it cropping up sometime soon.

Machine Gun Preacher will be out on November 18 this year.
