New Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Lands
Here? On a movie website? Gracious!

It's not everyday that Empire posts a game trailer a game trailer for a non-movie related gaming franchise, no less but when it's Modern Warfare 3 we're talking about, how could we not?

For those not in the know (for... some reason), the Modern Warfare franchise is one of the biggest-selling game series of all time, with its last release, CoD: MW2, selling 20 million copies worldwide.

Due out November 8, there are literally millions of hardcore gamers anxiously sweating into their sofa divots at the prospect of playing this, the biggest shooty-bang-bang game release (read: first person shooter) since... well, the last Call Of Duty game.

Following straight on from the end of Modern Warfare 2 (SPOILER), The Russian Federation continues to attack the United States, but missions are reported to also take place in England, France, Germany and parts of Africa.

This trailer, however, is centred around the gameplay rather than the plot, with Inception-like BRRRAAAAAHMS echoing out of your computer's speakers.

Anyway, check it out for yourself, and let us know your thoughts. Our thoughts? Looks ludicrously amazing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be out November 8

The genre needs a revolution.
This looks like every FPS released since Doom. More

Looks like fairly generic stuff. (I'm not into multiplayer games), Not as impressive as the trailers and general atmosphere surrounding Battlefield. Now, Batman: Arkham City, there's a game to anticipate. More

Enemy attack dogs with explosives?
I'd like to see chiuaus running about with a claymore hanging from each flank. Imagine how funny they'd look running around the battlefield? Who needs vicious teeth when you can explode in ball of fur and fire. That'd show those Pitballs and mastiffs how to be really dangerous. Anyway, back on topic... That trailer isn't for the single player, which I would have thought would have been more appropriate. It's for Spec Ops; two-player co-op mode! I'm sure you realised that Mr Empire!? More

Really Empire?
I'm a gamer and all but it's nice to escape to the far reaches of the movieverse to get away from games. Besides, anyone with a half decent taste in games will know that CoD is for looters and that seasoned vets play on the Battlefield. That is all. More
