Crazy, Stupid, Love Debuts At Big Screen

The Empire Presents... BIG SCREEN news comes thick and fast. The next Hollywood popper to join the fiesta is sharp-edged romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love. It'll make its public bow at The 02 on August 13, more than a month before its official UK release.

Crazy, Stupid, Love is the bittersweet tale of newly jilted husband Cal Weaver (Steve Carell), an ordinary, white-collar guy who turns to Ryan Gosling's smooth operator for guidance in the ways of seduction. Gosling's lothario may come across like the kind of guy Sade used to sing snarky songs about but he's got issues of his own. Cue Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and a whole lot of offbeat laughs.

Grammar-defying it may be, but Crazy, Stupid, Love looks like a lot of fun. Here are the screening details:

Crazy, Stupid, Love Advance Preview - Saturday, August 13, 7pm in Cineworld 7
Womaniser Ryan Gosling tries to teach Steve Carell’s recently divorced loser how to navigate the single scene. A classy and unpredictable new ensemble comedy drama co-directed by the Bad Santa writers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Also starring Emma Stone and Julianne Moore.

With Bad Santa co-writers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa behind the camera, and a pedigree cast that packs in man-of-the-moment Gosling, woman-of-the-moment Stone, and the ever mighty Carell and Moore, this looks like a win. Click here to book your tickets.

Your Comments

I literally just saw it. Really good.
Currently in the States, just caught an afternoon showing, and yeah - it's very good. Also find myself with a sizeable man-crush on Ryan Gosling. More
