The Paranormal Activity series keeps on trying to terrify us all with found footage and now the third film in the series has launched its first trailer, which you can watch below.
This initial promo features the work of new directing duo Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, better known as the creators/stars of controversy magnet documentary Catfish.
This time, we flash back to the 1980s to explore the origins of the demonic curse afflicting Katie and her family. There’s a lot of the usual Paranormal tricks here – jumpy family footage, sudden noises, dark rooms and interference – but if you enjoyed the first two entries, chances are you’ll get a scare from this one.
But given that the second Paranormal Activity was a prequel to the first one, and this one digs even further back into the story, what can we expect from a likely fourth outing? Paranormal Activity: The Killing Womb?
So they're saying its the Bloody Mary curse that's the demon behind the hauntings? OK, its JUST a teaser and that may have nothing central to the reason behind their possessions, but knowing how cheap the Paranormal Activity films have been when it comes to the actual scares I wouldn't mind betting they've given away the mystery right there in that trailer.
