Amazing Spider-Man Poster Arrives
Guess whose back?

Okay, this is a good time to be a die-hard Spidey nerd. After the costume was revealed and the trailer officially released, here comes The Amazing Spider-Man's proper poster - courtesy of First Showing who managed to take a snap of it at this year's Comic-Con.

And sure, at first look it's just Andrew Garfield's back, and at second look, yep, it's still just Andrew Garfield's back, but with the new logo and the bright and shiny colours, there's definitely something visually arresting about it.

Put it this way, it's definitely better than The Avengers poster we saw earlier. Right? Or not?

Why it has "The Amazing Spider-Man" repeated below by the date, we're not quite sure, but that's the way it is. As for the ever-so-vague "Summer 2012", we've got July 3, 2012 in our Spidey notebooks, so you might want to copy that over to yours too...

To be good or not to be good...
I was quite impressed until the horribly cgi'd roof sequence. It looked good for an xbox game, but not for a blockbuster movie. Hopefully any further roof sequences will much better quality. More

Looks great to me,, can't wait!!!!
In the original comics Gwen Stacey was thrown off Brooklyn bridge by the Green Goblin and killed,,,,,,,so not exactly a lighthearted venture. I think the mood and tone for this movie is perfect. I wish people would stop complaining about the fact that its too soon for a reboot,,, if you think so, then don't go see it, (although I bet you still will),, personally I think the sooner Spiderman 3 is wiped from our minds the better More

The cgi in the trailer from Spidey's POV is a tad dodgy, maybe because it's not finished yet. More

There just seems something wrong ..trying to hard maybe ? i always figured spidey to be a lighthearted venture..popcorn fun movies..not dark brooding ..i maybe wrong but ..its not gonna work ..not for me anyhow..too soon way too soon and a little miscast .. More

Posted by tebbsi at 18:32 on 21 July 2011 | Report This Post was the front for the other movies and now the back. when the reboot it in two years time, it will probably be a close up of the web shooters More
