New Musketeers Character Posters
One for all and loads for you

18 July 2011  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen

Looking forward to Die Drei Musketie... sorry, The Three Musketeers? Course you are. It's got swashbuckling sword fights, bigger explosions than you've a right to expect from a 17th century epic, even one directed by W.S. Anderson, and the most sinister moustaches this side of a Ming the Merciless fan night. And it's all filmed in 3D that may actually make your eyes pop out. In a good way, we hope.

Alexandre Dumas' story has been oft told down the years, but for newcomers to the tale of intrigue and crossed swords, it sees impulsive young swordsman D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) try to stop sneaky spy Milady De Winter (Milla Jovovich) and her even sneakier paymasters plunging Europe into war.

Cue those Musketeers: Athos, Porthos, and the one named after the '70s aftershave, Old Spice Aramis. They're all here in this mix of German and British character banners for your perusal purposes.

The Three Musketeers is out in 3D on October 12.
