Exclusive: Goldman On X-Men Cameos

If you've already caught the return of Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr and co. to the big screen, you'll know that X-Men: First Class boast a couple of cameo moments to have audiences chucking their popcorn around in sheer glee.

For reasons of heinous spoiling, co-writer Jane Goldman couldn't divulge the actual names but she did share the origin story of the origin story's top secret cameos. "The one eveyone will be talking about was [co-producer] Bryan Singer's idea, I believe," she explained. "He had that great idea and Matthew [Vaughn] and I just adored it. It was a great use of the one 'fuck' we were allowed in the movie."

Watch the clip below for more from Goldman.

X-Men: First Class is out now.

RE: Who has a cameo apart from the sweary one?
L: sanchia L: doubtlesswonder In the comic book canon he's Scott's younger brother, but the film-makers said they were going to change that to fit the story, but keep them related somehow. I guess they made Alex the older brother. Going for the geek award. His father is Corsair a pirate in space. f course, there's the youngest brother Vulcan (Gabriel), too. Not to mention Scott's son Nathan (Cable).I think Nathan drew the short straw on nicknames. More
