Bradley Cooper Looking To Be Lucifer
For Alex Proyas' Paradise Lost

Bradley Cooper is certainly looking to snatch some intriguing roles after the success of The Hangover and Limitless. And his latest target could see him playing Lucifer in Legendary Pictures’ planned adaptation of John Milton’s Paradise Lost.

Alex Proyas’ take on the 17th century poem, which will focus on the heavenly war between archangels Michael and Lucifer, also finds the latter tempting Adam and Eve away from the path of righteousness and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden.

The script has been through the hands of several writers in its long trip through development, including Exam’s Stuart Hazeldine, Lawrence Kasdan and Ryan Condal, who was responsible for the latest draft.

In a weird turn of events, this is the second project linked to Proyas that Cooper is aiming to be involved with, though the other – a remake of The Crow – is only connected because Proyas directed the original movie…
