Nolan On The Dark Knight Rises
What's the state of play right now?

14 February 2011  |  Written by Tom Ambrose  |  Source: Exclusive

Here's an extremely brief snippet from Christopher Nolan on the current state of play on The Dark Knight Rises. The secrecy-loving director, we're sorry to say, doesn't suddenly break with tradition here and reveal the entire plot, but he at least gives the timetable on his shooting date.

The Dark Knight Rises will once again star Christian Bale and Michael Caine as Batman and his butler, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. They're joined by Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, and maybe, rumour has it, Marion Cotillard.

The film's due to hit on July 20, 2012. Expect more dribblets of news between now and then, maybe.
