New Rio Poster, Now With Jesus!
Animated comedy hits Brazil

It seems like it was only hours ago that we reported on the new trailer for animated film Rio - mostly because it was. But here's another piece to add to the puzzle, in the form of a new poster for the film. And in this one you know it's set in Rio and not just the story of a really big Duran Duran fan, because you can see the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer in the background.

The story, for those who haven't been paying attention, sees the last male blue macaw, Blu (Eisenberg) sent to Rio in an attempt to encourage him to mate with the last female (Hathaway). His mission, however, is complicated by poachers and his inability to fly, as well as the fact that his prospective mate is less than swept off her feet by his charms.

The film also features the voices of George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, Will.i.am, Tracy Morgan and Jamie Foxx. It's out on April 8, 2011.
