Carla Gugino Wants To Be A MILF

Carla Gugino is a badass. Few would deny it after seeing her Sin City, Watchmen or especially the brilliant-but-cancelled US Crime drama Karen Sisco. And now she’s looking to prove she can kick even more butt as a woman on a revenge spree in MILF.

The acronym, according to the LA Times, stands for Mothers I’d Like To Fight, and will follow a female tough nut freshly released from prison who heads back to the streets to settle some scores. Violently.

P2 director Franck Khalfoun is aboard to wield the megaphone and Piranha 3D’s Alexandre Aja will produce and, one assumes, makes sure the mayhem quotient is turned up high.

If she does sign, Gugino will be making a similar film as Race to Witch Mountain co-star Dwayne Johnson’s Faster, in which he gets out of jail with a list of names of people he wants to take his revenge on. Can’t think where she got the idea… Oh, that’s right: she’s also in Faster. Guess she wanted a bigger piece of the action. And talking of, she’ll next crop up as a mean madam in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch, showing the likes of Emily Browning and Abbie Cornish how to be dangerous and sexy.
