Scott Pilgrim is coming. We know this because there’s going to be a special screening of Scott Pilgrim vs The World at this years Movie Con (aka Movie Con 33 and a 1/3, The Final Insult), and Edgar Wright’s going to be there, and it’s going to be awesome and stuff and yeah. Flaming swords for the win.
We also know Scott Pilgrim is coming because there’s been a trailer or two, a poster, and a more than a few mentions our very own magazine. Plenty of material to indicate that there will, in fact, be a movie called Scott Pilgrim Vs The World coming out in cinemas in days, not months.
Also, we’ve been given the world exclusive international poster to share with you and it makes us deeply excited in our big nerdy hearts. There’s Scott, and Ramona, and her exes, and they’re frowny, and it’s cool, and when will it be August 25? Wait, don’t answer that.
We can’t wait till Movie Con. No sir we can’t sir. And, once more with feeling: Scott Pilgrim is out August 25.
They say that Scott Pilgrim will close movie-con, but does this mean that it is actually part of movie-con on Sunday or is it the exclusive preview on Sunday night that you have to pay for? More

Am I the only one who thinks this looks like absolute shite? More
Whilst I agree with you, that people could have gone down to the BFI Southbank and queue'd online/inline/outofline/powerline, you can't deny that major lapses of foresight were made in the release of the tickets. I don't blame Empire, or BFI, I just hope that lessons are learnt from the errors of judgement for next year.

They weren't available online because that all went to shit last year, then again, I got them online this year, well more like in line, I bought tix in person, so no, they were not only available on the phone. More
