The new Nightmare on Elm Street comes out this Friday in the US and next Friday (May 7) in the UK, but here, at long last, is a full-face look at Jackie Earle Haley's Freddy Krueger - so meet the character who hopes to haunt your dreams for years to come. Yes, if you thought that Haley's Rorschach mask in Watchmen was disturbing, you ain't seen nothin' yet. And this is recognisably Haley, while also being recognisably similar to Robert Englund's original Freddy. The flayed, burnt look; the red soreness; the overwhelming urge to apply a thick layer of aloe vera: it's all there.
