Sean Bean Joins The Age Of Heroes
The true story of Ian Fleming’s WW2 unit

Sean Bean, Danny Dyer and Rosie Fellner have all signed on for World War Two Drama Age Of Heroes.

What separates this from your usual army film is that it’ll follow the real-life adventures of the 30 Commando unit, the ancestor of today’s elite forces that featured James Bond creator Ian Fleming among its ranks.

Adrian Vitoria co-wrote the script with Ed Scates, and plans to start directing the action drama next month in Norway.

If all goes well and the movie is a success, it’ll kick off a trilogy with two further outings – Age Of Honour and Age Of Glory – planned for the future.

Give him a chance. Just last week I bought Borstal Boy starring Danny and he does a great job. I think his main problem is he will do anything thrown at him so he needs to sort the wheat from the chaff. More

Missed opportunity
This film had an exciting premise as Flemming was a bit of a hero back in the day, but the film has now been ruined as I've just discovered that Danny Dyer is in it. By definition it is doomed to failure!!! More
