World Exclusive: Burke & Hare Still
First look at Pegg & Serkis' deadly duo

23 March 2010  |  Written by Chris Hewitt

Pegg. Serkis. Burke. Hare. Burke. Hare. Pegg. Serkis.

Yep, even though filming wrapped on the gore-soaked black comedy Burke & Hare on Friday, we’re delighted to announce that we have the world exclusive first official look at the duo as, respectively, William Burke and William Hare, two murderous types cutting a swathe through Edinburgh in the nineteenth century.

And, in case you weren’t excited enough by this evocative marvel, the film marks the return to full-length fictional features of the great John Landis.

To see the pic in its full glory, along with even more exclusive quotes from Pegg and Serkis, just pick up the new issue of Empire, on sale Thursday.

RE: World Exclusive: Burke & Hare Still
Looks intriguing. Now, if they don't use the music from the overture to Ruddigore in the trailer, they'll have missed a trick. More

RE: World Exclusive: Burke & Hare Still
sure it will be great, unsure why the report indicates its fiction however, sure the storyline and script may have fictional elements, but burke and hare, are very much real serial killers, much like edingbouroughs own version of jack the ripper More
