Four Lions Trailer Arrives!
We’re way beyond crows now…

We brought you our Damo’s opinion of Chris Morris’ suicide bomber satire Four Lions from Sundance and last week, we debuted the first poster for the film. And now the trailer has arrived online.

Lions tells the story of would-be suicide bombers living in the north of England and their plans to make some sort of grand jihadi gesture. Our wannabe martyrs, Omar (Riz Ahmed), Waj (Kayvan Novak), Barry (Nigel Lindsay), Fessal (Adeel Ahktar) and Hassan (Arsher Ali) aren’t exactly the sharpest tools in the box, figuring out schemes such as strapping bombs to crows. And thinking they can bomb the Internet.

Have a peek at the trailer below and see if you can hear the Daily Mail’s campaign to have the film banned gearing up even now. The film itself is out on May 7 in the UK.

Erm....monkey dust, anyone?
If anybody remembers the cult BBC3 animated series Monkey Dust (2003-2005), they might remember the sketches featuring Omar and his mates, the hapless Brummy jihadists. Sounds a bit familiar to me.... More

Does what it says on the mujahitin!
Saw this last week and while i was told by a reliable source to lower my expectations I was left absoultely speechless by the sheer nerve and consistency of the comedy. Once it starts it never lets up and it's refreshing and satisfying that the Four Lions team really stuck to their guns and made sure that it was a hoot from start to finish. Trust me, this will become a cult classic. With lines like "So you can fuck her but you can't kill her"...you'd be stupid to miss this and I look f More
