After.Life Trailer Online
Christina Ricci is dead! Or is she?

It must be horrifying to wake up in the middle of an operation, but what if you came to and you were on the slab at a funeral home? That’s Christina Ricci’s nightmare scenario when she discovers she might be dead in the thriller After.Life, which has shoved a trailer online via Apple.

No, she doesn’t wake up lusting for brains like some zombie; she’s at the possibly-less-than-tender mercies of mortician Liam Neeson, who assures her she’s passed on, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible, and that he’s the only person who can see and hear her, since he has a very particular set of… We’re officially retiring the Taken joke.

Thing is, ol’ Liam could be a big, creepy liar, since Ricci’s boyfriend (Justin Long) is still convinced she’s alive and he’s trying to find out what’s really happening. Cue running down corridors, tense conversations between characters and Neeson doing everything he can to make sure Ricci stays put.

Have a look for yourself and decide if it looks watchable. You might have a wait if you do, though – it doesn’t have a UK release date yet.

I've seen it
Amazon sent me a preview disc (I'm in the Vine programme). It's pretty bad, shlocky and predictable. Ends uncertainly, which is ok actually. Best thing - Ricci is naked for 80% of the movie... More

It's deathly cold in here isn't it.
Ricci plays a dead character, shame her career seems to be going in the same direction. More

Christina running around in a little red dress/lingerie... Dead or not that makes for good viewing! ;-) More

Looks a bit shit, but Liamo's in it so it's worth a punt. More

Necrophilia?
Creepy trailer and Neeson on top 'eww physco-perv' form and Cristina Ricci is always great (even in shit like Cursed and Penelope). This does have the air of a straight-to-DVD feel to it though, a really fun one though. More

All Dead, Yet Still Alive
Even if the lovely Christina was dead, I'd still do her (yum!). Good cast, might be an agreeable time-waster. It will probably be better on DVD than on the big screen. More

Necro-heavens! Smells like a ham sandwich to me but Neason looks classic on creepy form. Could be turgid, might be fun, but probably won't be a masterpiece. More
