Want To Be A Mark Millar Villain?
You can be the nemesis in Nemesis

Ever wanted to be the star of a comic book? Well, Mark Millar – the diseased genius behind Wanted, Red Son, The Ultimates and Kick-Ass – is offering you a chance to do that very thing. Sort of.

Millar is currently working on his next Marvel comic book, Nemesis, about a world in which the only caped crusader (he's the fellow in the picture, with the literal blood-red smile) is actually a totally evil bastard who decides to pick on one super-cop every year. Earlier this week, Millar auctioned off the name of the hero cop to a guy called Blake Morrow, who just happened to have a name so good he’s probably already a super-cop in real life.

And now it’s the turn of the Nemesis. Millar is currently running the naming auction on eBay, with the leading bid currently standing at $539.99. Just over two days – and a big chunk of change – are all that stands between you and a notorious kind of immortality. Remember, Millar did the same thing with Kick-Ass and now the winner of that auction, Dave Lizewski, is about to have his name echo around the world.

So, if you fancy it, head along to the eBay page and place a bid, safe in the knowledge that the money from the winning bid will go towards a charity fund for handicapped children. Are we going to bid? Maybe, although the idea of a supervillain named Empire Magazine will probably give our editor sleepless nights.

Good luck!
