Tatum O'Neal Joins Mr Sophistication
An indie drama with Harry Lennix

Tatum O'Neal has been cast opposite Harry Lennix in a new indie drama, Mr Sophistication, which will be directed by Danny Green.

Lennix - who has been seen on TV recently in Dollhouse, but is likely still best known for his roles in the Matrix sequels - will play Ron Waters, a washed up, drug-addled, Richard Pryor-alike comedian who grabs hold of a chance to revitalize his career.

O'Neal will play his wife and business partner, who helps him ditch the drugs so he can return to the stage.

Green scribbled the script and will make his directorial debut after spending years as a second assistant director on the likes of Stomp The Yard, American Dreamz, Flight Of The Phoenix and Envy. His credit list may not bode well, but he's starting small…
