Clark Gregg Added To Thor
S.H.I.E.L.D's Agent Coulson is back!

Given how dedicated the Marvel movie team are to weaving a cohesive universe for all their superhero films to inhabit, it's no shocker to learn that one of the more fun fan-servicing elements from Iron Man, Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson, will appear in Thor.

But it's good news to hear that at least one member of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, AKA S.H.I.E.LD, will crop up in Kenneth Branagh's film (though given that Samuel L Jackson signed a deal for about 7,000 Marvel movies last year, we'd hazard a guess Nick Fury might show up to the party too).

And speaking of news that isn't shocking, Coulson will also make an appearance in Iron Man 2. Will he get more screen time this go-around? Doubt it, but then, he did okay in the first Tony Stark outing and Gregg is the sort of actor who can do a lot with smaller roles - and these Marvel paycheques should keep him going if he decides to direct another indie film like Choke.

I mean, the films are being released only 2 months apart, surely we should be getting something by now! ht we would have a lot of information at Christmas on the Cap, but to no avail, I know Johnston has had quite a lot of problems with the completion of The Wolfman which would account for delay on news in comparison to Thor.t="trebuchet ms"]nt="trebuchet ms"]I think personally it's a production with More

RE: That's all good for Thor
d appear to be a summer - winter 2010 shoot and and post production early 2011 but even by these timings, you'd hope for some shift or movement towards hearing some news. t="trebuchet ms"] HM, they will probably panic and run out of time and make some knee jerk casting reaction, there is lots of talk of making the feel of the film very 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and have essentially a comic book interpretation of a war film and whilst this all sounds ideal, the lack of anything tangible is wor More

RE: That's all good for Thor
I get the feeling they are going to screw Johnson and go with a knucklehead yes man like Leterrier and cast Will Smith or something equally stupid. This would need to start filming in the summer so it will be interesting to see if they get it up and running. If Johnson pulls out for any reason I suggest getting Richard Donner involved. More
