Inception Teaser Poster Right This Way
First taste of Nolan's next

16 December 2009  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Your Mind Is The Scene Of The Crime

Looking at this teaser poster for Inception, the none-more-under-wraps new thriller from Christopher Nolan, two things are immediately called to mind. First of all, doesn't this remind you of that first Dark Knight Joker teaser poster, although the water levels were admittedly lower there? Secondly, doesn't Leonardo DiCaprio look uncannily like Nolan himself here? Maybe it's just because they clearly share a hairdresser.

The film's still under more wraps than a pashmina warehouse, but we know it's a science fiction thriller (say it with us now) "set in the architecture of the mind", and that tagline - Your mind is the scene of the crime" - suggests that there'll be illegal goings-on. Shooting took place in London, Paris, Tokyo, Tangiers, Los Angeles and near Calgary, so make what you will of that.

Inception is out on July 16 next year, by which point we might , maybe, know more.

Interesting...
I am so so so excited about this film. I really hope all the cloak-and-dagger antics are not going to just end with a massive anti-climax. Somehow I don't think it will though. I am yet to be disappointed by a Chris Nolan film, & the cast for this just gets better & better. However, does anyone else keep thinking of Minority Report whenever they read that tagline? More

RE: YES
Anyone think Nolan is about to pull off a major WTF moment? Theories are floating all around the interweb that this is going to, pardon the upper management speak, "dovetail" into Nolan's Bat universe Here's why. 1st of all check out the cast, Batman alumni galore, Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanabe (!!), AND Michael Caine (!!!) and who knows who they are NOT telling us about. 2nd also starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, often suggested as the ideal replacement for the late Heath Ledger as the More

YES
Looks cool, hopefully it's something really interesting like the previous non Batman movies Chris Nolan has made. More

I love that the studio seems to have given Nolan carte blanche and a blank cheque as basically a present for making them a bajillion dollars . If only we could get Joss Whedon and all the other people I'm dying to see more from to somehow break all box office records they might get the same deal. More

Also...
They were filming this in the basement of the building where I work earlier this year. They were only here for a week and I only figured out what was being filmed after going on IMDB to see what DiCaprio was filming in London. When I read it was Inception I laid one. More

Can't wait for this film...
But it distracts me how the titles look like they are a similar font to that of 'Chicago'. More

RE:
Really looking forward to seeing the film, but, yes that poster did instantly remind me of the Joker one from The Dark Knight. More

Well it still looks very cool, and any poster which features skyscrapers heavily is of interest to me. More
