Exclusive: Transformers 2 Clip
Loose lips sink ships, as do bad robots

Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen was many things to many people, but one thing we can probably all agree on is that it was the most explodey film of all time. And, with the film about to see the light of day on DVD and Blu-ray, we've been provided with an exclusive clip that shows how Michael Bay & Co. pulled off one of the biggest bangs.

We're referring to the scene where those nasty Decepticons take apart an entire fleet of US battleships and aircraft carriers. In our exclusive clip, a split-screen shows you both the rough drafts and finished versions. And it's pretty darned impressive. If your interest is piqued, then there's plenty more behind-the-scene glimpses when Revenge Of The Fallen hits DVD and Blu-ray on Monday.

I loved the first one
But this movie was completely unengaging, and I didn't appreciate having to explain away to my niece what the small robot was doing to Megan Fox's leg More

whats the problem?
I dont get it, why did everyone hate this film? I really enjoyed it, its not meant to be anything other than a big budget action movie and in that department it excells. I cant understand the critisism of the humour in a film about giant alien robots, what were you expecting, a serious piece of drama. More

Despite the update to the story...
...this movie still contains an unusaully high level of racism and sexual 'humor' for a kids movie. And its rubbish More

Both films
were complete disappointment. WTF!! What they did to soundwave was unforgivable. More

ChrisCas exaggerates…
To say the Empire site is selling out to marketing is a bit OTT. Bits like this are as much part of news as anything else – and these days any commercial magazine or website needs money more than ever. What was not so good was getting the story wrong first thing ithis morning! More

De ja vu
Hmmm... this story looks like a slightly re-edited version of the story you pulled this morning about the clip being EXCLUSIVE!, BRAND NEW! and NOT IN THE ORIGINAL CUT! This site is becoming laughable as you sell out to the marketing machine. You make the X-Factor look subtle... More
