New Avatar TV Spot Online It's looking better and better... Source: YouTube
Those lovely chaps over at Latino Reviewhave pointed us in the right direction of a brand-new Avatar TV spot that’s just shown up on YouTube.
It’s got more glimpses of the military/action side of James Cameron’s sci-fi epic, as human forces deploy – and attempt to destroy – the indigenous life of the planet, Pandora. The action stuff, even in this thirty-second spot, is simply mind-boggling, while the copious amounts of CG just get better and better with each new spot and trailer that hits. Frankly, if you’re not blown away by this, you can stick it up your Ferngully.
Personally I can't wait this looks amazing, tho to be honest even if they had a trailer made entirely of paper cut outs I would still be queing to see it.

Well, personally speaking, I'm afraid I'm not remotely blown away.
The CG doesn't even look photo-realistic on Youtube, so it's hardly going to be convincing on the big screen.

The CG doesn't even look photo-realistic on Youtube, so it's hardly going to be convincing on the big screen.
It's impressive in its scope, but it still looks fake. In five years time, we'll look back on this in the same way as the 'photo-realistic'Fantasy - The Spirits Within.fter the seamless CG integration seen in District 9, for a fraction of the cost, Avatar looks like a great leap backward.
