Christmas Carol New York Launch
Exclusive video from the big event

15 September 2009  |  Written by Helen O'Hara

Yesterday in New York it was announced that A Christmas Carol is going to have a huge London premiere, and that this year's Christmas lights on Regent Street and Oxford Street will be themed in accordance with the movie (a slightly more Christmassy theme for the lights than some of the previous film sponsors).

Now we have exclusive video from the event, including a message from Jim Carrey, who takes eight different roles in the film, including Ebeneezer Scrooge and all three Christmas ghosts.

A Christmas Carol is out here on November 6, so get your 3D glasses ready!*

*or just get some at the cinema.

Boris getting into the xmas mood
It seems Boris Johnson thinks his christmas light event is going to be amazing enough to possibly eclipse the release of the film...wonder how they're going to theme it in the style of 'christmas carol' why don't they just get disney to make some mental lights! More
