The full trailer for the hip heist thriller, Takers, has gone online over at Yahoo! Movies. The story of a crew of young, slick thieves going for one last score, and the Al-Pacino-in-Heat-lite cop (Matt Dillon) determined to take them down, Takers may not look terribly original, but the trailer makes it seem like it could be decent entertainment. But, of course, that’s what trailers do. We’re most excited about this because of the presence of the great Idris Elba – Stringer Bell from The Wire – who’s moving further and further up the movie ladder. Here, as the Stringer-esque brains of the outfit, he gets to keep his London accent and swagger around in sharp suits, while the likes of Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen and Chris Brown (with those guys on board, Elba had to be the brains) run around and shoot stuff. John Luessenhop directed the movie, which also stars T.I., in his movie debut, and Jay Hernandez. It’s out here on March 12, 2010, but you can tide yourself over in the meantime by heading over to Yahoo! and checking out the trailer in HD.

Man, this film is such a sausage-fest they run through seven male actors (Some of whom, uh...who?) and forget to give Zoe Saldana (She's Uhura for freak's sake!) a look in! Awful
The trailer was soooo boring and unoriginal it makes me wonder - why make such trash when it's not even remotely interesting. The poster for this movie is also bad - i think whoever done this poster couldn't understand on how to use photoshop properly.
