Sam Trammell Joins Details
True Blood star with Linney & Maguire

Sam Trammell, cutesy star of TV's True Blood and most popular shapeshifter since The Thing, has signed on to co-star in indie comedy Details with Laura Linney, Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks.

The film, which is written and being directed by Mean Creek director Jacob Estes, apparently focuses on modern relationships and "a couple's disagreement over how to handle a raccoon infestation" - of course. The obvious solution - Sam changes into a dog and chases off those pesky critters - must've been overlooked.

The film was previously known as The Details, and originally had James McAvoy and Anna Friel also in the cast, but they seem to have dropped out since, with Maguire or Trammell apparently filling McAvoy's role.

RE: Good thing there was a spoiler warning there
I'm afraid we can't change Empire content (although have to say, I worked that out from the first epi I saw of True Blood, and I didn't read the books - they made it kind of obvious). But I'm sure the request for a little more care will be noted. More

Good thing there was a spoiler warning there
Oh... one minute. There wasn't one! Well at least it wasn't a big reveal. Oh... one minute... More

Not appreciated
The only people who will have seen that far are those who have bought the box-sets on Region One from the States, or downloaded the series via bittorrent. People in the UK watching FX haven't got up to that point yet. You wouldn't spoil The Wire in this way, and that's actually been shown from start to finish on British TV! Thanks guys. More than a little annoying...! More

Yeah nice one,
I'm only up to the current episode on FX, thanks very much for blowing a major plotline. A curse upon your houses! More

Spoilers!!
Ahem, how about a spoiler warning for the poor souls who haven't yet watched the brilliance of True Blood? That's a pretty major plot surprise you're ruining there...! More
