YES! The thing about the bad boys series is, its one of those films where you can just sit back and enjoy without actually having to think too much or actually at all. Great action and comedy scenes, just like Bay's transformers series. More

i found Bad Boys 2 to be pointless, but stupidly fun rubbish, i would whole heartedly welcome another one, on 2 conditions: 1: the original cast comes back. and 2: they dont try make it all family friendly by making it a PG-13, and cutting out all the violence and swearing. would be fucking pointless if they did that! I like the Bad Boys films, they're good fun. What I don't like is Michael Bay's insistence on over-saturating every shot and tweaking the contrast to its absolute limit. It works for a cheap music video but stretch that to two hours plus (hello Bad Boys 2) and you've got yourself a headache. More

I liked the first Bad Boys - good chemistry between Smith and Laurence and some good action from the Bayster, before he went all pervy and ego-maniacal loopy (he's definitley insane). The second is, as you say Owen/Empire, over-blown garbage. 'Whoa, lets get some cheap laughs by having Will and Martin dress up in Klu Klux Klan costumes and have a car chase involving throwing dead bodies out of a van. Genius.' But if done right Bad Boys still have legs on it and I would love to see a third one. More

No surprise after the appearance of Bays creation The Twins in Transformers 2 aka Smith and Lawrence in disguise. Bad Boys 1 was just ok, the sequel was rubbish. Bay is only any good when his producer is actively involved, as with Sean Connery with the Rock and Spielberg with Transformers 1 (his finger prints are all over the first film but he clearly was too busy with Tintin for the sequel and just left his name attached to pull in the punters). The First one was good however it hasn't aged well, The Second one was ridiciulolius and a completely shit. So I do not have high hopes for the 3rd one. Unless they make it more gritty and realistic ala Miami Vice (Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx) and less Miami Vice ala Don Johnson.

Okay, so Empire say that Bad Boys was solid but unremarkable. Hmmm well in my opinion it was a 90's classic. It did warrant its sequel, and was just as good, if a bit over long... A third installment would be great, but prefferably not as long as the second. A chance to see Smith & Lawrence on the big screen again would be a joy! So bring it the f**k along! More
