Rachel McAdams brings the glamour |

| One of Comic-Con's many joys was the release of a third Sherlock Holmes poster showing Rachel McAdams come-hithering as Victorian femme fatale Irene Adler and boasting the film's US release date (it's out in the UK a day later on Boxing Day).
The high-haired Adler accompanies the similarly fog-stained promos of Holmes and Watson and shows the adventuress in one of her more velvetine guises.
McAdams told Empire that we can expect her character's relationship with the titular sleuth to be a little, well, punchy. "They're very antagonistic, even though they have real affection and respect for one another. They seem to be on opposite sides of the law, a little bit."
