| With timing that can only be described as unfortunate comes news that Janet Jackson has signed up for Tyler Perry's sequel Why Did I Get Married Too. The original was not released here, although a shortage of laughs and shoestring budget didn't prevent it racking up a ginormous $21.5m opening weekend in the US, with final grosses of $55m. Perry's family-orientated comedy stylings have generally struck a sizeable chord with audiences Stateside.
Jackson will reprise her role as a successful author and psychologist who dishes out relationship advice to clients but refuses to face her own marital problems.
