Mr Nobody Trailer Online
Interesting arthouse with Jared Leto

The first English-language trailer for Jaco Van Dormael's Mr Nobody has gone online and it promises a rather intriguing film. Starring Jared Leto, Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley and Rhys Ifans, it has a weirdo premise that we're kinda digging. Check out the Mr Nobody trailer here.

The story sees Leto's Mr Nemo* Nobody go from a normal life with his wife Elise (Polley) and their three kids to suddenly being a 120 year-old man in 2092, the only mortal man in a world of immortal people and the oldest man on the planet. He tells his lifestory, but lives out many different versions of his life, dreaming (or is he?) about marrying different people and living different lives.

The film's the first English-language effort for Belgium's Van Dormael, who made Toto The Hero and The Eighth Day. It looks pretty twisty to us, and boasts an interesting indie cast - so will you be giving it a go?

*"Nemo" means "nobody" in Latin, fact fans.

Out in France...
I live in Paris where Mr Nobody has been out for about a week. Saw it yesterday and its pretty darn decent. Visually striking and an excellent Leto. An Afonsky like narrative structure meets Wachowski (Speed Racer) aesthetics...with a dash of Huit Femmes perhaps? It gets a tiny bit Monty Python at the end, but excellent overall. Go see! More

RE: Hmm, Werid.
Looks really odd... I do like Jared Leto, but still not all that sure about this one.  More

Hmm, Werid.
Okay, this looks seriously werid but my sister is up for it as she likes Jared Leto a lot. Maybe it would be a hit, not sure but it does look intresting. Have to wait and see when it comes out. More
