Sacre bleu! The trailer for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has hit the internet and it is France-centric and explosion-heavy, as you can see below. Stephen Sommers' adaptation of the hit toy line sees Channing Tatum play Duke, one of a band of super-soldiers picked out to join G.I. Joe and fight against the evil COBRA organisation, led by Christopher Eccleston's Destro and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Cobra Commander. As you can see from this clip, the bad guys target Paris with some sort of metal-eating weapon, and the good guys fight back with super-duper "accelerator suits" to enhance their natural abilities. Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Marlon Wayans, Said Taghmaoui, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Rachel Nichols, Jonathan Pryce and Ray Park also star. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is out on August 7 here. |
