New Alice In Wonderland Pic Sneak peek at Burton's latest
The new issue of Empire has a few tidbits from Tim Burton's new film Alice in Wonderland, with new pics and an interview with Burton himself about the film. And here, for your delectation, is a look at Alice about to head down the rabbit hole. And yes, that must belong to a pretty huge rabbit.
Mia Wasikowska stars as Alice, alongside an all-star cast that includes Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (perfect casting), Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham-Carter as the Red Queen, Christopher Lee as the Jabberwock, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat and Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar.
As Burton says, "I've always liked Lewis Carroll's imagery. It's so politically incorrect too, isn't it? Y'know, a bottle of something that says 'Drink me' and the mushrooms..."
For more on Alice in Wonderland, and of course lots more, pick up the 20th birthday issue of Empire when it hits stores on Thursday 23.
