Got A Friday Morning Hangover?
Calm it with trailer for, well, Hangover

06 March 2009  |  Written by Emily Phillips  |  Source: hangovermovie.warnerbros.com

Brighten up those post-Thursday-night-on-the-town blues with a laugh at the trailer for Todd Phillips' new comedy The Hangover

With Heather Graham and Jeffrey Tambor the most recognisable names in the line-up - and with neither appearing in this trailer - you could be forgiven for writing the stag party comedy off before it has even opened - but just hark back to Todd Phillips' classic Old School and you will rethink. The movie's actual stars include Yes Man's Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms (from the US Office), Zach Galifianakis of various random TV shows such as Wonder Showzen and Reno 911 and  Justin Bartha (National Treasure: Book Of Secrets).

The film covers old-ground in terms of plot, sounding a lot like Very Bad Things: Man is about to get married. Man takes hotch potch group of male friends to Las Vegas for one last blow out party.
Man does lots of bad stuff and is left to face the consequences the next morning.

Except that there is no murder of ladies of the night here and none of the men can actually remember the bad things that the did, so it is all a bit more lighthearted in a mid-thirties Dude Where's My Car kinda way.

There are however, tigers in the bathroom, a baby in the wardrobe and no sign of one particular member of the party - the groom. Check out the Hangover trailer here. Worth a watch for the most hilarious cameo ever!

This reminds of the episode of 'Peep Show' where Jez is trying to remember "the bad thing" from the drunken night before. Won't tell you what "the bad thing" was but it was aptly titled. Anyway this movie looks fun, anything with an 'in the air tonight gag' usually signals laughs More

I don't know how familiar you all are with Zach Galifianakis over on that side of the pond, but the man is hilarious. I suggest checking out last year's Visioneers or his stand up Live at the Purple Onion. I for one am very excited about this flick. More

Funnily Enough ...
... I DO have a Friday hangover, and I have already f*cked because of it, sending a rude e-mail concerning last night to the wrong person. I'm really not kidding, either. Empire: it's like YOU write it, and I LIVE it! Weird, huh? More

I love stupid shit like this so it should be cool. However I do agree with Simonoram about the trailer. Hope there's more to come. More

Old school was one funny movie, and this looks good, especially the laugh out loud sucker punch of a cameo! Only concern is, have they put all the best bits in that relatively short trailer? More
