Brand New Fast And Furious Poster
And Paul Walker looks, well, furious

16 February 2009  |  Written by Emily Phillips  |  Source: Coming Soon

First, a word to Paul Walker. Man, we know you're only doing it for the cold hard cash, and you're hardly losing cred for starring in another action movie - so why the furious face?

But here we can see, in all its one-sheeted glory, that Fast and Furious is back (not to be confused with The Fast and The Furious).

The tagline promises - New model. Original parts. So, back in the fast lane are all the old favourites: Walker as Brian O'Conner - who since the previous installment, has continued to cover his Tommy Hilfiger face with a scowl and stubble in various action and war movies; Vin Diesel - whose return as Dominic Toretto looks mildly perturbed at best - and has been making light of his situation since Tokyo Drift with movies such as The Pacifier and Babylon A.D.; plus the girls - Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto and Michelle Rodriguez as Letty - who just seem glad to be working again.

The nifty plot line sees O'Conner and Toretto reunited once more, after a shared adversary forces them to team up and go back to the streets to get revenge.

Fast and Furious is out in the UK April 10.

I don't know why...
But something about this film makes me smile. It shouldn't exist, by all rights, and I think we should be celebrating the fact that somehow, three sequels down the line, a series that had lost all it's original cast members would somehow have them all back. God bless Hollywood, and the crappy agents of all those people. I mean, would we see Jason Biggs, Mena Suvaria Tara Reid and those guys back for the next 'American Pie'? Ummm... Wait. Never Mind. Actually, scratch that. How I Met Your Mother More

Screw you all!!!
I'm not embarrased. The first one is my guilty pleasure and I'm sure this one will end up being filed in the same....well, erm...file. Plus, the tag line is pretty cool you must admit...although it's probably missing "same old story" from the end. More

I'll watch it, but only on DVD/Blu-ray. I really enoyed the first one. I know it's silly and a blatant rip-off of POINT BREAK, but it was a decent enough film. As for the sequels - I've only seen 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS, and that was pretty mediocre to say the least. More

Rodriguez just seems glad to be working again???
Did you know she's starring in the biggest film of the decade (AVATAR), possibly ever? More

Wow Emily
Thats quite a snipey article, though I agree completely. I just hope you don't have to interview the principles when not so fast not so furious: more apathetic is released in 2020 More
