Witness The Exclusive Push Clip
Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans bond

13 February 2009  |  Written by Emily Phillips

We have an exclusive clip taking a first look at Paul McGuigan's upcoming Push. Here we see the two unconventionally superpowered heroes - "Watcher" Cassie (Dakota Fanning) who can see fragments of the future and Nick, a "Mover" with telekenetic power (Chris Evans) - thrown together by their shared peril at the hands of The Division, a government agency that seeksto contain those with special abilities.

In this scene, Cassie is terrified that she is visualising her impending doom as she draws a series of tigers in her notebook, and begs Nick to reassure her. He does so by telling her: "You are a crappy artist." That's some seriously smooth soothing!

Director Paul McGuigan talked exclusively to Empire about Push, talking us through the bond between Chris and Dakota: "They have this beautiful relationship, almost like Leon. I mean, I'm Scottish; I don't really get all soft about people but she (Dakota) was really impressive. So her and Chris have this really nice relationship, and it's not sentimental but there's a real bond between them."

The film also stars Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou as the "Pushers" of the title, who can push memories into your mind, wreaking havoc on all around.

Push hits UK cinemas on February 20.

Oh no
Not her, that little snot in another film! I try and avoid seeing any movies with her in it, however I love Man on Fire and War of the Worlds and that little punk just happens to be in it! More

RE: Witness The Exclusive Push Clip
I've got a bad feelin about this movie. We had Jumper the other year which was in the same vein and that was nowhere near as good as it should have been.  I'll wait and see it before passing judgement though. More

Pointless!
This is hardly gonna make people excited. Pointless clip to show. She draws tigers, wow! Someone stop me from peeing my pants! More

Not bad, not good
From a stateside view, it wasn't a bad movie or a good movie. But for a movie that's trying to tag along on the coattails of comic book hero type movies, it definitely didn't do such a bad job. The cast wasn't really used to their potential, even Chris Evans. The special effects are kind of typical with today's action-oriented movies but nothing above the norm. The storyline tries to be more complicated than it should be as well. But, even with these issues, it wasn't a waste of money. More
