New G.I. Joe Posters Hit The Net
And yes, that is Sienna Miller

28 January 2009  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen  |  Source: Ain't It Cool News

Paramount has posted five new G.I. Joe posters online, days ahead of the expected airing of the trailer during one of the Super Bowl's super-spenny half-time ad breaks on February 1.

To Empire's eyes the posters look not entirely dissimilar to the first batch of grainy character shots released back in December, although they do also include Rachel Nichols as the crossbow-wielding Scarlett.

Alongside Scarlett, the posters feature Channing Tatum as Duke, Marlon Wayans as Ripcord, Sienna Miller (who seems to be stolen Bonnie Tyler's hair) as Cobra operative the Baroness, and Darth Maul himself, Ray Park as Snake Eyes.

With Stephen Sommers directing and a mid-summer release date of August 14, Paramount has high hopes for G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. The studio hopes to court fan-boys and newcomers alike. As Sommers puts it, "For people who know nothing about G.I. Joe, it'll make sense. And to people who love this stuff, it'll show where they all came from."

All should become clearer with the release of the trailer, in the meantime let us know where your expectation levels are sitting for this one...

Not bad, but...........
where are there faces? It's great to look at these posters but surely they could have given us a glimpse of their faces rather than showing what guns there carrying. More
