Pineapple Express Alternative Ending
Exclusive: see how it could've finished

Pineapple Express Alternative Ending

Pineapple Express has proved something of a Marmite film since it came out last year, but with its DVD release looming here's something that even the naysayers might like: an alternative ending for the film.

Starring James Franco, as a pot dealer who's his own best customer, and Seth Rogen as his second-best customer, the film sees the pair on the run after witnessing a murder. Without giving too much away, the film turns rather action-y in the last act, and this ending takes place after it's all gone a bit Die Hard. It's not massively spoiler-ific, strangely, if you haven't seen the film, because the other ending is substantially different, but it's still rather amusing in a quiet sort of way.

RE:
Hmm!  So glad that was not used, much prefer the breakfast scene.  A 3 star movie at best though, could have been so much better, and this coming from a hardened stoner. ... Read More

Hmmmm
That ending was indeed shit but tha final shot of him taking Franco's hand is what I liked most about the film, the homoerotic/guys loving each other aspect. Found the film itself good but not great although have been considering picking up the 2-disc DVD a it looks like a really great package. ... Read More

Err...that really wasn't worth the download waiting time. The film itself, good for the first two thirds, and just ok in the final actiony 3rd act, where the tone seemed all mixed up and things got a little crazy. ... Read More
