The Unborn International Poster
Exclusive: David Goyer's new horror

11 December 2008  |  Written by Helen O'Hara

David S. Goyer's next film, The Unborn, is a return to his horror days, as you can probably see from this creepily coloured effort. The lady who forgot her trousers is Odette Yustman (Cloverfield's Beth), and she's all scarified because the kid in the mirror is the malevolent spirit who's haunting her.

The story follows Casey (Yustman) as she begins to experience strange happenings and general madness that may be supernatural in origin. The Unborn also stars Cam Gigandet, Gary Oldman, Meagan Good, Idris Elba and Carla Gugino. It's due out here on February 27.

IN FACT
The poster reminds me of this month's front cover of Empire, which has similarly buffed nether region... except it his Hugh Jackman's crotch. Both make me feel queasy. More

Johnny Depp???
Isn't that kid in the mirro a dead-ringer for Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd? And that is a rather attractive bottom!! Maybe that's why no one else has mentioned this!! More

Director, title, "stars" and synopsis all suggest this will be rubbish, but now they seem to have modelled the poster on covers of bad teenage horror books. Also note that the poster suggests they're going with the "buttoned shirt, no tie" means of characterisation for movie crazies....i must concede, however, that is a nice ass. More
