The story sees Johnson play a Las Vegas cab driver who gets more than he bargained for when he picks up kids Tia (AnnaSophia Robb) and Tony (Alexander Ludwig) – and learns that they’re aliens. Enlisting the help of a UFO expert (Carla Gugino) he tries to get the pair back to their ship in Witch Mountain, only to run into an obstacle in the shape of Ciaran Hinds’ sneering bad guy Burke. To complicate matters further, an interplanetary invasion threatens if the kids can’t get back to their ship, and an alien bounty hunter is also after the young pair. Thank goodness they’ve got El Rockerino on their side. Race to Witch Mountain is out here on April 10 next year, so you’ll have to wait until then to smell what Dwayne Johnson is cooking.
